Travel complications prevent four Vols from making it to Monday's practice

The Tennessee men's basketball team will be without four players when it takes to the practice court this afternoon.

Vols' coach Bruce Pearl said Renaldo Woolridge and Kenny Hall have had issues returning from California, Jeronne Maymon has had complications returning from his home in Madison, Wis., and Tobias Harris has not been able to get back from his Long Island home because the airports in New York City have been closed.

"Those four guys that get back later on tonight, all are in travel situations that's not their fault,'' Pearl said. "We know they have flights. We don't know for sure they will be back tonight. We hope so.''

Pearl said today's practice is being held to get ready for practice Tuesday, so assuming the four players return to Knoxville tonight, they will practice Tuesday morning as well as Tuesday afternoon.

Tennessee (8-3) plays host to UT Martin (4-8) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 at Thompson-Boling Arena.

More details as they develop online and in Tuesday's News Sentinel.

Well that is one way to cut down the rotation.

The other three better be glad Harris can't get back or they would have been benched.

Thought those two loses would hurt and it did.

VOLS drop out of top 25. The top 10 teams have a combined 4 losses and 2 of those losses came via the VOLS. What does that mean? Not much of anything.

UTMartin plays Ohio State first. That will soften them up so we won't need the 4 players. Wait a minute.... we don't need them against Charlotte or Oakland either. Never mind!
