NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Two Vanderbilt players saw their scoring roles head in opposite directions two weeks ago in Knoxville.
Senior guard Jermaine Beal had a fabulous night, burying four 3-pointers and notching 25 points to help Vanderbilt win at Tennessee for the first time in five years.
Sophomore forward Jeffery Taylor, the Commodores' leading scorer at the time, added a relatively quiet 10 points.
Since then Beal's confidence has spiked and his productivity has swelled. Taylor's output has tapered off as more opponents have schemed to take away his dribble drive.

If I wanted to read this article, I would have done so in my copy of The Tennessean. I might have read it on GVX if it was written by a KNS writer. Since it is simply a Vanderbilt "homer" article written by a Nashville writer, I skipped the article and went straight to the comments. And, no, I don't read the KNS authored articles in the Tennessean. I read them on GVX.

I am really frustrated with Bruce playing his no talent son so much.
We got beat bad the first few minutes he was in tonight, we make a comeback and he put him back in. Then we got whipped again. He will never be able to make a lay up. Bruce has a issue with giving his son too much PT. He is killing us when he plays so much.
I have said before a few minutes a game is OK, but what he has done the last 6-7 games is getting us in trouble.
Bruce you are not making a good choice by putting your son in the game so much. QUIT!

Agree about the silly comments attacking the KNS, but the results you mentioned are history, not destiny. Most of us realize that the football team is probably three years away from consistent contention, Vandy has an excellent basketball team this year, and the basketVols still are good enough to have a successful season.

It aint the referees!!!!! You have to HIT the front end of 1 & 1's! Then you wind up with more attempts! Too many headbands. I've always said we can't make it past the sweet sixteen with 3 or more headbands on the court at the same time. Now we have 3 headbands starting and three paroles waiting to spell them. I was at the game. We didn't even know we were at the game until we were 20 points down. I've been to Pittsburgh, Michigan State, UAB and Illinois and now Vanderbilt and the Vols do not belong in the top 25. In talent maybe but not basketball teams.

I did notice (and you can see it in the above photo) that we absolutely KILLED them with tatoo designs. They barely have any. We SMOKED 'em with headbands and arm sleeves too. We rock with individuality.
