Prospect Pos. Size School/Hometown
Stephone Anthony LB 6-3, 220 Anson/Wadesboro, N.C.
One of the top prospects in the nation. Former UT coach Dan Brooks is hot on his trail for Clemson.
*
Clay Burton DE 6-3, 220 Venice (Fla.)
Several scholarship offers, but none from non-Florida schools, which should make the Vols optimistic.
*
Torrey Campbell Ath. 5-11, 180 Barron Collier/Naples, Fla.
Another solid Florida prospect without any offers from the big three Florida schools.
*
Cameron Clear TE 6-6, 265 Central/Memphis
One of the top prospects in the state and plays a position UT coach Derek Dooley loves.
*
Mack Crowder C 6-4, 270 Tennessee High/Bristol
Received a scholarship offer based on his performance at UT's camp last week.
*
Brendan Downs TE 6-6, 225 Tennessee High/Bristol
Committed to Duke since March. The Vols have some work to do. Teammate Crowder could help.
*
Jaiari Dunaway LB 6-2, 205 Siegel /Murfreesboro
Memphis appears to be the chief competition for Dunaway - for now.
*
Eric Ebron TE 6-5, 225 Ben L. Smith/Greensboro, N.C.
Committed to North Carolina since March. This could be a tough pull.
*
Brandon Fulse TE 6-4, 245 Fort Meade (Fla.)
One of the best tight end prospects in the region, if not the nation.
*
Lonnie Gosha DT 6-2, 270 Union County/Lake Butler, Fla.
With Florida State and Florida hot on his trail, Gosha will be a challenge for UT.
*
Cyrus Hobbi OL 6-4, 285 Saguaro/Scottsdale, Ariz.
One of the top offensive linemen in the nation. Likely a guard.
*
DeMarcus Hodge DT 6-1, 280 Neville/Monroe, La.
With LSU waiting to offer, the Vols are in the hunt along with several schools.
*
Kiaro Holts OT 6-5, 270 Warren Central/Indianapolis
With more than two dozen offers, the chase is one for this upper-echelon lineman.
*
Corey Marshall DE 6-2, 240 Dinwiddie (Va.)
With all the Virginia schools having offered, UT can still offer a chance to play in the SEC.
*
Giorgio Newberry DE 6-6, 255 Central/Fort Pierce, Fla.
One of the top prospects in the nation with dozens of scholarship offers.
*
Thomas O'Reilly OG 6-3, 310 Pope/Marietta, Ga.
Committed to Auburn since April, but UT recruiter Lance Thompson won't give up in Georgia.
*
Norkeithus Otis DE 6-3, 200 Ashbrook/Gastonia, N.C.
Plenty of competition for this top-flight prospect, including Florida, LSU, North Carolina and N.C. State.
*
Tony Posada OT 6-6, 315 Plant/Tampa, Fla.
Great size. Building a pipeline into talent-rich Plant High would be a plus.
*
Jordan Rigsbee OL 6-4, 275 Pleasant Valley/Chico, Calif.
Recently committed to California. Would he be willing to come so far east?
*
De'Ante Saunders Ath. 6-0, 180 Deland (Fla.)
Committed to Florida since October. Supposedly solid. We'll see.
*
Stephon Tuitt DE 6-5, 260 Monroe Area (Ga.)
One of the elite prospects in the nation. UT's ties into Georgia could make this interesting.
*
Nick Vannett TE 6-6, 230 Central /Westerville, Ohio
An athletic tight end who could see ample opportunity once senior Luke Stocker departs.
*
Jordan Walsh OL 6-3, 275 Glenbard West/Glen Ellyn, Ill.
UT is one of the latest schools to offer Walsh, who is considered one of the top tight ends in the Midwest.
*
Donell Wilson DT 6-4, 280 Blair/Pasadena, Calif.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of competition for Wilson. UT and Kansas are the first to offer.

Way to go coach. Most of us are behind you, and appreciate the efforts of a highly dedicated and very competent coaching staff!
Obnce we knock off a few bigs this year, TENNESSEE will be on the map!

We will always have to compete with the instate schools for these prospects. Been this way for years. GBO!

Let's hope we are in as good of shape as pre 92. That was a solid foundation that led the team to greatness.

Glad to see the staff is going after linemen, as we are really thin at that position...

Dooley and Thompson and the guys know what they need. Let's let them do their job. If they beat Memphis only 31-20 this year all these negative people will complain about that.

We shouldn't be looking at Torey Campbell. I played high school ball with him and hes not as good as he seems. Hes really not worth the time to get him, hes gonna be a huge bust in college.

Should have top TE class in the country.

If you're too dumb to know how to hit the Caps Lock key, your credibility is firmly in the toilet.

By my count that's 5 offers for TE, 7 for OL, and 8 for DE/DT... all areas of neglect by recent staffs.

He He He, my eyes watered up. Excellent observation huey. Hooker has been on a roll the past couple of days. What is this guy crying about?

Wow, I am curious to see how many TE's we sign in Feb. Seems to be a high priority.
As long as we sign 5 OL I will be happy. I still think we are good at every other position (except D-Line)
Just have faith in this staff. After the class they brought in last year, I have NO DOUBT they will continue to sign top 10-15 classes every year.
Voicesnmyhead writes:
Everyone must also realize that not every player we offer has to be 5* to field a great team. Case in point look at Chris Donald and Patrick Willis, they played high school ball 15 miles apart. Noone wanted Willis and through heart and desire he went on to be the best LB in college as well as all pro in the NFL. Donald was a 5* stud who could'nt get on the field at UT unless he tripped over the chains and fell on it. As long as we get a few 4* or 5* at skill positions, because they are easier to evaluate we will be fine. On a side note if you think Michael Oher's story was inspirational in (The Blind Side) check out Willis's.
