The Lady Vols will scrap with them for sure. What might be a concern is the youthful pitching for U T.
In the series just completed in Knoxville, we hit several batters and also got behind in the count quite a few times.
Playing the sub regionals at locations that are not a neutral site can be tough. Not complaining though, because that's the way it is and the game is played on the field and we'll just have to try to take the first game. 2 out of 3 is important to win that first game !

Good luck Lady Vols !

Tennessee gave away a National Championship a couple of seasons ago because our coach allowed the oposing teams pitcher to pitch with tape applied to her finger on her pitching hand. Do you realize how much a curveball, or dropballs spin can be affected by adding tape to yoour releasing fingers??? Also the TV Commentators said she was wearing the tape to keep blisters from forming on her fingers. So What!!! Our pitcher could have had the same problem but she did'nt wear any tape. Our coach should have protested the opposing pitcher wearing a foreign substance on her pitching hand. I believe that piece of tape allowed on that pitchers pitching hand cost the Lady Vols a National Championship. I would hope that our coaches will be a little sharper this year and not get outcoached or outsmarted like they did before.
