Pay-per-view information for Saturday's UT football game

Full event details »

DISH Network, DirecTV and AT&T U-Verse announced their state of Tennessee channel numbers for Tennessee’s game Saturday against UT Martin. Kickoff is 6 p.m.

Tennessee customers can order the pay-per-view game on DISH Network channel 461, DirecTV channel 783 and AT&T U-Verse channel 103, respectively. Home dish customers should order the broadcast by going to the designated channel and following the ordering instructions on their TV screen using their remote before Saturday’s kickoff.

Cable systems across the state of Tennessee also are carrying the telecast from the VideoSeat pay-per-view service. Fans may contact their local cable system to order the game and receive price information. ESPN GamePlan is offering the game to fans living outside the state of Tennessee via the ESPN GamePlan package. The game is blacked out on ESPN GamePlan and ESPN3.com in the state of Tennessee and cannot be ordered as part of any ESPN package.

The announcing team for Saturday’s telecast is Randy Smith on play-by-play, former Vols quarterback Pat Ryan on color and Rick Russo on the sideline.

Indeed. Why do a story on Pay Per View "info" without any mention of the cost?

Since I cannot go to the game this week (grandkids comeing over), I ordered mine before Friday night at midnight and got the discounted price of 29.95 instead of 34.95.

I got my ESPN GAMEPLAN yesterday so I'll be watching in Alabama and hoping for a good game!

As the legendary John Ward (and friend) use to say "It's FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!"

So, let's get the chant started ... IGTBATV!! IGTBATV!!! IGTBATV!!!! IGTBATV!!!!!

Don't know if this site is showing it or not. Streaming video sites are blocked here at work. I watched several games last year from this site. Can someone check it out and see if it is on their schedule?

U.T Alum are hosting it at the Racket Club off White Station.
If you want, I'll forward you the e-mail with the scoop.

Well that's where I'll be. I imagine it will also be on at Fox and Hound too. They normally broadcast UT games.

Any chance of getting this over an outlet via the computer?

I think the way the ESPN/SEC contract works is they can't show it in any capacity in state if it's a PPV game. No gameplan, no espn3. I know that auburn is either on peachtree or fsn or something so it's not ppv.

in the Triangle it'll be shown at the Highpark Restaurant on Whittaker Mill Rd.

I'll be at the rest of the homegames in XX3 but Hamilton can resell my babyvols 1-AA game tix to pay for the $750k buyout of the heels.

FWBVol writes:

I'll be watching it on ESPN3 here in Florida. I bought the cable to run from my laptop to my big screen yesterday. It won't be as sharp of a picture as it is on a normal broadcast, but it beats paying for pay-for-view and I'll still get to see the game live.

GBO!!!

I miss Knoxville and the Smokies.

Take care my fellow UT Fans!!

For those in the panhandle of Florida, Angler's Beachside Bar and Grill on Okaloosa Island will have the game for free on two big screens and 20 other TVs..plus sound. Come on out and join the Emerald Coast Big Orange Club for some good ole Rocky Top in the midst of Gator and Seminole land. They meet at Anglers every week for you out of town Vol-visitors to Destin, Pensacola or Fort Walton Beach.

Vol football has arrived...Orange fans will pay any price, travel any distance to see the Vols. It no longer is just a football game...it is a happening. The game is assumed to be a bummer..Vols game not even on Vegas lineup. Only LSU fans have generally made a non factor game into a happening...now the Volunteers have matched Tigers...a big-deal sellout no matter who they play. Its like Kentucky in basketball, folks from out of metro area are shocked at the circus-like atmosphere. Go Vols.

I HATE PPV! It sucks!
I will never order a PPV event.
I would pay face value for a ticket to this game ($40) located on the top row of neyland and just use my binoculars well before I would pay PPV.

stevefrommemphis writes:

Are they paying me to watch it, or do I have to pay them?

I've already paid for four worthless tickets in season ticket package which I gave away.

By the time you figure a ticket cost, parking, and snacks, you will be getting a better deal at $30 on pay per view.

allVol: Last year I watched the only UT PPV game on ESPN3 for free and imagine we'll be able to this week as well. ESPN3 only blacks it out in Tennessee. Sometimes it pays to be in Jawja!

So don't.

No one is holding a gun to your (knuckle) head to make you order PPV. Geez. I want it so I'll gladly pay the $29.95 to see my school play ball. In fact, I'll spend another $29.95 to have some bad food and bad beer. Maybe I'll invite over some bad friends and bad family.

GBO

I got the season ESPN GAMEPlan Package on Comcast here in Maryland for $115.00. This is good for the whole year and they always throw in the basketball season as well. A pretty decent deal considering all the roundball games I get to watch the Vols play. Yeah, I could watch these for free on the computer at ESPN3 but for that price it worth it to get it on the big screen.

The7Maxims writes:

I guess I'll have to settle for BWW, but I'd rather look at some hoots while I'm watching the game.

Because the cost varies from provider to provider.

Enjoy listening to Mr.Money and Mr.Boreing on the Vol network.Watch the replay Sunday and a couple of other days next week on Sport South.

For those who pass on watching the game Saturday, by first thing Sunday morning you can watch it and every other SEC game on secdigitalnetwork.com. Just last night I watched last year's beatdown of UGA in Neyland on that site.

This is the best part of living in Houston on UT gameday. ESPN3.COM is always available. I thought I would have to pay for all UT games but I can always find them on TV or internet.

For those of you who cant get the game here is some of the sites I use for UT games and (dont make fun of me) my Buffalo Bills games.

JustinTV
P2P4U.Net

I have more, but those are the most reliable. Dont worry EVERY game is available on the internet.

P.S KNS, please do not block me. I did not give the full web site. They have to figure the rest out themselves. I did nothing wrong. Just trying to help a fellow UT fan. We have to watch our team play. My girlfriend does not like me when I miss any UT game (basketball usually cuz I will not miss football). She is from Houston but every time UT scores I make her watch replays. Being a great girlfriend she acts like she is interested.

GO VOLS!

If you're in Colorado, go to the Uptown Tavern in Denver...it's the official Denver home of UT football ...they put on every game including PPV and they have all kinds of specials for the whole lot of UT fans and alum who show up..usually about 50+ of us...and the employees there often wear our football jerseys during the games! Go Vols!

Pretty stupid if you ask me. $500 is a tiny investment if it brings a couple of hundred thirsty, hungry Vol fans into the bar for three hours.
