Very sad news about Pat Summitt. Pat's statement that "its not going to keep me from coaching" is in itself a manifestation of her disease.

As my screen name states I'm a Big UK Basketball Fan, but in light of the situation with Vols Women's Coach PAT SUMMIT I'll be THE FIRST to say (outside of UT) that I truly admire her and ALL that she has done for not only UT Women's BBall but for ALL of women's sports and women in general who have played under her.
I Wish Coach Pat Summit The Best. And I Truly Hope that she can continue coaching for many more years to come. God Bless her and her family at this very difficult time. Have FAITH Coach Summit for The Lord will look after You for ALL that You have done in such a POSITIVE WAY.

Prayers and best wishes to Coach Summit. She is truly one of the best. As a Gator fan I have admired her for years she does it the way it should be done. Best of luck going foward and by the way PLEASE take it easy on the Lady Gators lol. You are in my prayers

Well said and thanks. We Vol fans are extremely grateful for all Pat has done for us and for sports fans everywhere. She has even transcended her program and the sports world in general.
