The skinny: Carson’s stock somehow went down during his senior season, but it wasn’t because of his on-field production. He also drew rave reviews from his performance at the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star game, so it remains a mystery why a few scouting services are down on the early UT commitment. He’ll need to modify his body a bit in the weight room and early playing time shouldn’t be at the top of his priority list, but he still has loads of potential.
