The skinny: From a public relations standpoint, there might not have been a more important commitment than Richardson’s. Long considered one of the best players in the state, Richardson was a player UT absolutely had to have. Though Richardson transferred schools during the season, grades and his ability to qualify aren’t expected to be an issue. As strong and physical as Richardson already is, he should have no trouble cracking the two-deep and could contend for a starting spot.
