The skinny: Randolph’s stock rose through his senior season, as he picked up more and more recognition from the major scouting services. He played on both sides of the ball in high school but made his biggest mark on defense, as his bone-crushing hits became legendary in his area. A player like Randolph could find early playing time in this UT secondary, which, outside of Brent Brewer, didn’t have many players who struck fear into receivers crossing the middle.
