Alabama suspends 2 players; Safety Robbie Green leaves

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama coach Nick Saban has indefinitely suspended two players.

Saban said Tuesday that redshirt freshman wide receiver Keiwone Malone and sophomore defensive lineman Darrington Sentimore violated unspecified team rules and policy.

Sentimore played in 11 games last season, making nine tackles and recording four quarterback hurries and a forced fumble.

Saban also announced that safety Robby Green won’t return to the team. Green was battling for a starting job in 2010 but the NCAA suspended him for the season.

He also missed spring practice under a team suspension.

Indefinately suspended means they are suspended while nothing is going on but will be reinstated as soon as fall practice starts.

Nick Satan & Steve Supieror are two pees in a pod.

Bowden keeps picking up these character cases and he will think he is back in Auburn.

Just like Spurrier, sent them packing for the entire month of July.

Since they have cracked down on coaches (Saban)for putting so many players on medical scholly, he has to find another way to weed them out. Saban is a dirtbag for the way he has signed players and then run them off when they didn't turn out to be as good as he wanted.

It's also sad that those who come to fish for responses get their limit every time.

Three less Allabubbas. Out of 100 on the team, can't see how this is news to the Vol Nation. What is really news is that the Kimbo/Kimbro whatever kid from Memphis, who is verbal to Candybilt, will soon lose his ranking as No.1 in TN. The joke on the Sports Animal at noon is: when he announces he goes from No. 1 and 5* to No. 7 and 4*s and if he signs with'em, he goes to No. 30 and 3*s. Not really funny, but caustically clever. If he signs, he won't stay. It takes more than a phenom QB to take a team from worst to first, unless of course he can play 11 positions on defense also. GBO

But he will be doing it with a much smaller budget than he had working "under Lowder" (the dad, not the daughter).

These guys leaving really is er, heart-breaking.

I heard a joke that the Bama spring game was the hardest fought, most competitive spring game in the country, because 110 players were fighting for 85 scholarships.

Your mighty(lol) trojans probably won't score 198 points in the next three years combined when those scholly reductions kick in. Have fun with your dream job Lane.....

We have a second team all SEC D.T. Don't we?
GO VOLS !!

Colliervol writes:

Nick has the luxury of being able to run these players off because of his propensity for over-signing. Something he won't be able to do in the future. He'll have to be a little more careful in the future since he won't be able to gray shirt 20 players.

Snapshot,

Remember, you're talking to a kid.........the Kiffin kid.

Another teeny bopper who never played the game,
maybe video games.

Just a kid...............forget his 'tough talk.'
