The Lady Vols (15-6) are the No. 4 seed in the regional with Duke (17-3-1) at the top.
"It's a privilege to be in the NCAA field of 64," Lady Vos coach Angela Kelly said in a UT release. "We've learned the hard way how grateful you need to be. I think our body of work this season has certainly prepared us for what we might face. It's going to be a heck of a battle for whatever team in this country is the last one standing. That team is going to have had to play great soccer, stayed unified and healthy and battled some wonderful opponents. We're very excited to be a part of the NCAA tournament and also excited to be playing at home on Saturday."
Ohio State (10-8-2) advanced to the NCAA tournament semifinals a year ago. Coach Lori Walker, like Kelly, is a North Carolina graduate.
The Tennessee-Ohio State winner advances on Nov. 18 against the winner of No. 15 Milwaukee and Illinois State. The third round is Nov. 20.
The SEC got eight teams into the 64-team NCAA bracket.
Milwaukee (18-2) is the Horizon League champion. One of the two losses was to Illinois State (13-5) late in the season.
