Former Tennessee basketball player and current Chicago Bulls guard C.J. Watson has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with international sportswear company PEAK.
Watson joins fellow NBA players Shane Battier and Patrick Patterson with PEAK, which is based in China and distributes sports merchandise, including shoes, to more than 70 countries.
Watson is a four-year NBA veteran, and he enjoyed a breakout game last Nov. 26, 2010 against the Denver Nuggets when he scored a season-high 33 points.
Watson's new endorsement deal was negotiated by former Bearden and Belmont basketball standout Jared Karnes, who's now a local attorney and sports agent with the Allegiant Athletic Agency (a3) based in Knoxville.
