Tennessee-Georgia game sold out

Tennessee's game Saturday against Georgia at Neyland Stadium, its fourth of the season but first against SEC competition, is sold out.

The sellout is UT's first of the year and first since last season's 41-10 loss on Oct. 23, to No. 8 Alabama. The Vols sold out two of their seven home games in 2010 and had crowds of 102,000 or greater three times in 2009.

After recent renovations, Neyland Stadium seats 102,455 at capacity.

UT drew just 87,758 fans for last week's 41-10 victory against Buffalo and have averaged crowds of 90,744 through the first three games this season. All three games saw fewer fans than any from last season.

Limited, single tickets remain for the Oct. 15 game (TV: WVLT, 3:30 p.m.) against LSU at Neyland Stadium.

And I will be one of 102,455 fans there to see the Dawgs get beat. Can't wait, has the potential to be a great game. Just hope our special teams are better than last week, playing like that against GA could spell doom for the Vols. GO BIG ORANGE and beat them Dawgs.

I can't make this one but I will see them knock out the first number 1 this year. LSU will have the TIDE on their mind when they come to town. Come get ya some.

I'll be there cheering on the Vols...All the ticket sales need to result in butts in seats.Historically the later games see some folks watching from home rather than staying out late. My prediction... something like 35 to 24 Vols..

Wish I could be there, but I'll have a good seat in the living room watching on the overhead.

GO BIG ORANGE!

Lets give these mangy flea ridden bulldogs a beat down they'll never forget.

There are a ton of tickets available from the brokers. A lot of Dawgs are buying them. UT may have sold out but it will not be a turnstile sellout. After the Dawgs lay the wood to them it will not be a ticket sell out again for years.

Can't wait to see the matchups with Da'Rick against the Dawgs. Lots of talk this week about bad blood. It should be fun. Always good to see a Georgia boy wearing the orange. Glad they got Marlon Brown. That has worked out well for them.

Now you're switching sides for some reason. Could it be the impending big game?

Oh well, you ain't fooling us. We remember the tone of your past oratories.

As you say - " disrupting normal on-topic discussion". Normal on-topic discussion on this particular website is pro-Vols. You are not. Hello, troll.

Vols win this one in a shootout. Aaron Murray throws ANOTHER 3 interceptions and the dogs lay an egg in Neyland at night. IF georgia can score points, it will be in the first half...they are not a second half team and will be worn out by halftime.

35-24 Vols.

+1 (If you are truly sincere in your comments)

Look my point in all of this is that it is
fine to disagree with what Coach Dooley is doing in some aspects of the game, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but if you are a fan, a true fan, than you support the coach and his staff even if you do not agree with a decision he has made and you certainly don't blast him and make this staff or this team to be more negative than they really are.

Vols,

A big Orange thanks to CantCompare for what he said. How many would do that?

This is the stuff that can make your day when someone steps up and can say I was a bit wrong when I said certain things in the heat of battle, so to speak.

Hey , I have done the same thing. CCLC from UGA
has too and admits he is a loyal fan of Georgia.

Now.........on the other hand, we'll never see an ounce of class from trolls like Packer of Flowers, Bodeane, the "precious one" etc.

Over and out........Go Vols

If you're sincere CC, welcome back. Emotions tend to get the better of the Big Orange faithful sometimes.

Regarding your daughter and the flying pillow, it could have been worse. After Ainge threw an INT during overtime of the '07 UK game, I threw my Vols game cap. It hit my wife's tea glass, the contents of which went all over her. That ended my football for that particular weekend. Fortunately, the Vols faired better than I did.

Lesson learned. If the cap comes off, it goes nowhere toward my wife. The ironic thing is she bought me the cap in the first place.

GBO...but don't pi$$ off the wife.

It's called talking smack, or schmack, depending on the intensity. You always get a pass during game week. So all that pent-up need to give it to our opponents..., don't hold it in. Freaking let it all out. C'mon. Go 'head.

Go Big Orange! Beat those dawwwwwgs!!!

If it's sold out, there will be more than 102,455 there.

When everyone in the stadium is counted, it's more like 105,000-106,000.
