The SEC finalized Tennessee’s 2012-13 men’s basketball schedule on Friday, giving the Vols home games against Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Florida and Missouri.
The Vols’ home date with defending national champion Kentucky is slated for 1 p.m. on Feb. 16 and will be nationally televised on CBS (WVLT locally). UT visits the Wildcats on Jan. 15 at 7 p.m.
Nine of Tennessee’s 18 league games will appear on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. The others will be broadcast on the SEC Network, FSN or CSS.
One Thursday night road game/Saturday afternoon home game turnaround, which UT coach Cuonzo Martin was openly critical of in his first season, appears on the schedule. The Vols play at Ole Miss the evening of Jan. 24 and then play host to Alabama at 2 p.m. on Jan 26.
In addition to Mizzou, the SEC’s other new face, Texas A&M, will play host to UT on Feb. 23 in College Station. Tennessee last traveled to A&M in 2002 and dropped an 83-66 decision.
The Vols have a 2-4 all-time record against Mizzou, with the last meeting coming in Knoxville in 1985, a 67-54 UT win. When the two meet at Thompson-Boling Arena in the season finale, it will mark the last home game for UT seniors Jeronne Maymon, Dwight Miller and Rob Murphy.
Tennessee opens league play at home on Jan. 9 against Ole Miss.

Nothing about Tyrran Mathieu aka Honey Badger being kicked off LSU's team for the infamous failed drug test.
But there's a article about Bray spraying someone with a jet ski...

My initial thought is we should be able to at least go 11-7 with the possibility of better. With our non-conference schedule I would think 20 wins is reasonable before we get to the SEC tourney. Of course a lot can happen between now and March. If things go really well they could have 22 or 23 wins by the SEC tourney.

The SEC has totally screwed this up. Geez...it's like we are playing more West than East teams...whatta joke!

Further, we play Bama and Ole Miss twice, and the Gators once. This stinks.
