Virginia Tech 37, Tennessee 14: The Hokies outrushed the Vols 229-31, and outscored them 20-0 in the second half of the 2009 Chick-fil-A Bowl.
LSU 21, Tennessee 14: The Tigers intercepted two Erik Ainge passes in the fourth quarter and got an MVP performance from backup quarterback Ryan Perriloux, who was subbing for an injured Matt Flynn, to come from behind in the 2007 SEC championship game.
Auburn 38, Tennessee 28: The undefeated Tigers, who had 31 first downs to UT's nine, dominated most of the game but led by only three points before Jason Campbell clinched the victory with a 46-yard touchdown pass to Ben Obomanu with 6:56 to play in the 2004 SEC championship game.
Clemson 27, Tennessee 14: Casey Clausen completed 32 of 56 passes for 384 yards, but the Vols managed only 38 yards rushing and didn't score in the second half in the 2004 Chick-fil-A Bowl.
Maryland 30, Tennessee 3: The Terps scored on their first possession and held the Vols to 45 yards rushing in a one-sided 2002 Chick-fil-A Bowl.
LSU 31, Tennessee 20: Backup quarterback Matt Mauck ran for two touchdowns and backup running back Domanick Davis rushed for 78 yards as the Tigers overcame injuries to Rohan Davey and LaBrandon Toefield to win the 2001 SEC championship game.
