ATLANTA - Tennessee's 2012 season is kicking off a neutral site that will have plenty of orange.
UT fans appeared to greatly outnumber North Carolina State fans outside the Georgia Dome this afternoon. The teams play the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game tonight at 7:30 p.m.
Early indications appear the numerical advantage will carry over to the Dome, although the red-clad Wolfpack fans made plenty of noise despite their smaller numbers.
Former Vols basketball coach Bruce Pearl was one of the most prominent fans wearing orange. He posed for photos with several fans and even a stadium usher before the game.
Tennessee has lost six consecutive games in the Georgia Dome. The Vols are a 3-point favorite tonight.
