Former Tennessee quarterback Erik Ainge and current NASCAR driver and Knoxville resident Trevor Bayne each announced engagements to their respective girlfriends over the weekend via their Twitter accounts.

Bayne broke his news Saturday with a simple tweet saying, "Wellll ladies and gentlemen...she said yes!!!" which was followed by the hashtag #futuremrsbayne and a link to a picture of the couple on the ski slope.

Ainge made his news public on Sunday, saying that his girlfriend, "will have to change her Twitter name soon, we just got engaged at her parents house in MD! Luckiest man alive! Mrs. Ainge :)," which she immediately did change.
