Tennessee offensive lineman Dallas Thomas has received a coveted invitation to play in the Senior Bowl.
Thomas, a second-team All-SEC pick, becomes the 119th UT player selected for the prestigious event played this season on Jan. 26 in Mobile, Ala.
Thomas started two years at tackle but moved to guard as a senior. He started the final 37 games of his career.
The Senior Bowl is a weeklong evaluation for NFL scouts and coaches.
The game is televised by NFL Network.

Firstly, I would like to say congratulations to Dallas... He made it thru some of the roughest years Tennessee has ever had, and came out on the other side standing on his feet... Says a lot about the kid's character... Thank you for your dedication!!! Secondly, am I the only one who is disheartened that Zach Rodgers didnt get an invite? He is a leader, he has an awesome football IQ, oh and he has somethin' that neither CP and JHunt never had this season... Heart... Just sayin'... Either way, congrats to Dallas...

Thomas and the other seniors had as tumultuous a career as any college football player could imagine.
Best of luck to him and any other players heading early to the draft or moving on in life.
They gave their best for the program and got nothing in return except a losing record, lousy fans complaining about them and saying they are glad they are gone.
That's more than can be said for the guys that are collecting the 7 figure buyouts and getting continued blind support from some of the idiots on here.
