NASHVILLE - Vanderbilt returns to practice today after Christmas break with its defense focused on the gameplan for stopping Tyler Bray once again.
No, the former Tennessee Vols quarterback won’t actually be opposing the Commodores on Monday morning in the Music City Bowl at LP Field. But his clone will be.
At least that is the way Vanderbilt views North Carolina State senior Mike Glennon, whose size, style and stats closely resemble Bray’s.
Both quarterbacks stand 6-foot-6. Both boast big arms and are traditional pocket passers. Both threw for a little more than 3,600 yards this season. And both are expected to be in the 2013 NFL draft.
