Stories from SEC media days this morning suggest that Texas AM and Mizzou aren't afraid of competing in the SEC. May be not but is any one in the SEC really concerned about either team competing for a title? The answer is no. At best, AM and Mizzou this year will lose no less than 4 games and probably more. Despite what they think, the Big 12 is a minor league compared to the big guys who play in the SEC. Texas and OU have been the best in that league by far. I think Texas AM will have the best chance to improve and be a real competitor in the West each year. I'm not sure that MO will be much unless the East continues to decline.Doug Kellett

I remember when Phil Fulmer had to avoid SEC media day because a Bama attorney had a subpena to serve on him.
