Derek Dooley and yet-to-be-determined members of the Tennessee football team will take the stage on the third and final day of the 2012 SEC Football Media Days in Hoover, Ala., the league announced today.
Dooley and the Vols will follow Alabama coach Nick Saban and his selected players on July 19 at the annual circus-like event at the Wynfrey Hotel. The third day has been a typical landing spot for the Vols, who will only precede Ole Miss and Georgia.
Despite the addition of Missouri and Texas A&M to the rotation, the event will run its same traditional length of three days. The Tigers and Aggies will both get their turn on the stage during the first day, July 17. Six teams will share the stage on the second day.
Last year, senior defensive tackle Malik Jackson, senior running back Tauren Poole and junior offensive tackle Dallas Thomas served as the Vols' player representatives at Media Days.
More information about the event will be released at a later date.
