MURFREESBORO — Tennessee’s Big Orange Caravan made its third stop in as many days Wednesday, this time at Miller Coliseum.
Unlike past years’ events, when often one notable coach would appear at a caravan stop, all three big names were on hand for Murfreesboro’s orange-clad fans.
Vols football head coach Derek Dooley, men’s basketball head coach Cuonzo Martin and new women’s basketball head coach Holly Warlick joined athletic director Dave Hart for the third stop of a seven-city UT tour.

At least Tennessee is consistent, each of the 3 coaches (Dooley, Martin and Warlick) making this three ring circus carnival caravan have very little experience, are good losers and nobody outide of the Orange Bubble has ever heard of them.
Just like PT Barnum said, "there is a sucker born every minute." In this case the suckers are any UT fan who shows up for one of these events.

When it comes to posting, it's not exactly true that UT fans "lack all conviction" about Coaches Dooley, Martin, and Warlick.
After all, real UT fans know that we're far from the full evidence having come in. Dooley has had only two years to dig out of the mess he inherited, Martin one to dig out of the one he inherited, and Warlick hasn't even started yet but has lost five seniors who started this year. (Trolls preemptively ripping Holly shows all you need to know about their position as so-called UT supporters.)
Real UT fans who have the honesty to concede that they can't see the future are at least willing to see what the future will bring.
However, if the posts of UT fans sometimes lack conviction, the nearly automatic trollalogues (trollarants?) that appear every time KNS mentions a UT coach are ample proof (as if we ever needed it) that trolls never lack it and that "the worst/Are full of passionate intensity."

OK, here's the challenge: If UT wins 8 or more games this year, you all promise to stay off GoVolsXtra for 1 year. If they win 7 or less, then I promise to stay off for a year. Of course, this assumes that we're all men of integrity (i.e., won't change our screen names). I'm confident in my claims; how about you?

UT's former athletics director Mike "DoofusButHighlyPaid" Hamilton and his agent---who was the agent for several coaches on UT's staff---need to be investigated by the TBI, in my opinion.
Having a fox guard the henhouse from the guy who negotiates the fox's feeding arrangements and represents all the other foxes in all the negotiations with the henhouse or its owners may seem to be something like conflict of interest. This is, of course, my opinion.
And looking at the Trustees' relationships with supposed oversight would be a good idea, too, in my opinion.
Funny thing...when the agent disolved his partnership with a fellow Memphis sports agent, two years ago, the agent went to a Hollywood Talent agency with the block of business---and the ethics of Hollywood talent agents is somewhat lower than al Qaeda's. And the pressure will be on to grow profitability in the business, from the Hollywood agents, in my opinion, almost to a certainty.
Yet the BOT welcomes this kind of representation of its coaches...and athletics directors...
So UT's Brand is sold down the river, in my view. If you don't believe it, remember that we are no longer Orange and White, but BLACK and Orange and White or BLACK and Orange...
when we are not Blue and Orange and White...
and that is the result of Hamilton, the agents, coaches and an ethical compass that says anything is okay as long as we get paid for it. Remember...Hamilton hired Lane Kiffin...and the basketball coach who sometimes looks clueless in non-up&down the floor situations...
and remember that our Trustees think we need to go to Alabama for a new athletics director---ALABAMA????? ALA XXing BAMA???
Doug Dickey could come out of retirement and do a hexx of a lot better than the FB, BB, BB2 or swishing...er, swimming team has done in hiring coaches and posting records.

CDD can be judged after he has a senior class (REMINDER: he inherited the weakest (in numbers and quality) UT roster in the last 50 years and the dumbest fanbase in the SEC). Fulmer, with a roster that included Peyton and a busload of future NFLers, lost to hapless Memphis State, then won the National Championship 2 years later. The win over Cincy- with a healthy roster- was a better indicator of where the program was than anything that happened after the injuries mounted. Go Vols!

You see there "greatest", you show your ignorance. When you get your impact players hurt, as we did on offense, our opponents can then defend us differently. We did not have the talent (or experience) to replace a play maker receiver and a quarterback. I will say that we cannot afford those type of injuries this year either but we are starting to have more quality depth. We have been playing a brutal SEC schedule with a JV team (predominantly Freshmen and Sophmores). We will have more upper classmen this year and we will see improvement. We will still need the younger players to step-up, but they do not need to be in the position of having to carry this team.

I loved Fulmer (He was recruiting my son) and don't mean to slam him at all, but his last few years were not up to par at all and this list didn't take in account all the arrests our players had during that time.
He took way to many changes on recruits his last couple of years. I do wish he had become the AD I think he would have done a great job. Nothing against Hart but Fulmer is and will always be a legend in TN.
Kiffen took even more chances and as everyone knows most of them didn't work out and is highlighted in the hyperlink Gerry and myself has posted several times.

Another good article to read:
The Freak List: The 10 craziest athletes in college football
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootb...
Hunter is at number three a great write up:
3. Justin Hunter, Tennessee, WR: The Vols' 2011 season was torpedoed when the 6-4, 200-pound big-play wideout was lost for the year in mid-September with a torn ACL. On 33 career catches in a little over one full season of college ball, he has caught nine TDs and is averaging a gaudy 22 yards per reception. Vols coaches breathed a big sigh after watching Hunter score on a 50-yard TD reception on the first possession of the second spring scrimmage last month.
Hunter is a spectacular talent: he has been timed at 4.42 electronically, has broad-jumped over 11 feet, and vertical jumped 41.5 inches. As a track athlete he has high jumped 7-3 and long jumped more than 26 feet. If Tennessee has any shot of getting back to being a top 15 team this season, it is going to need a huge year from Hunter.
Then add D Rodgers, Cordarrelle Patterson, Z Rodgers, Alton Howard (WR and Kick return man) Groom and Bowles in the WR mix and TE's of Mychal Rivera, Downs and Clear. Then our all our backs can catch in fact Neal played WR last year and Lane had several catches: we have a LOT of great weapons to throw too.

I see a lot of improvements in the Running Backs this year under coach Jay Graham, I think the lack of a Running backs coach last year really hurt the running game. They also forgot to add Channing Fugate who can and has before played FB I think they (the article writer) may list him as a LB.
Remember we also have a 4 Star back coming in Davante Bourque who is 6'3" and 200 and has speed, I would like to see him in the backfield this year with Lane or Neal (he is big enough to play a FB if needed) and has break away speed of a tailback.

33 Dennis Johnson | 5-9, 213, Sr., 3V 104 Attempts 458 Yards
Notice one Jr and one Sr took his place behind a senior QB
So from what I can tell you are comparing the lost of one running back with two upperclassman replacements to fill in.
To the lost of the QB and WR combo that was leading the SEC in total yards and are predicted to be the fourth best duo (QB and WR) this upcoming year 2012. We even tried to move Neal to WR to make up for the lost of Hunter. By the way we lost Lane for the first part of the season and Lathers for the whole season along with others. I would guess we had more injuries to key players than any other SEC team on both sides of the ball.
Also it was talked about last year on nearly every telecast about the Vols being the youngest team in the SEC. Look at the numbers of Freshman started over the last two years compared to every other team in the SEC.
So your comparison is very weak. Try again

Now you have gone totally wacko you just point out Freshman and SO. on NC teams which you could do with every NC team. This did not compare the lost of Key players with limited back up.
The question then on these two players you named if they had gone down would have ever team won the NC? the answer is yes the rest of the teams were outstanding.
In 11 Trent ran for 98 yards and one TD in the NC game and Mccarron didn't even throw a TD in the game and the Defense from that team only allowed 9 TD for the entire year, so bottom-line your D was the main difference.
I was trying to get the 2009 stats but wouldn't come up on Yahoo but I suspect the same type of trend.
So try again worlds greatest loser

He didn't just go totally whacko. He's always been that way.
His mention of Richardson and McCarron is completely irrelevant. McCarron QB'd a team that only started three underclassmen, and none of them were true freshmen.
If those two had both been injured at the same time, then there might have been an impact, but with the depth Bama had/has, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal.
GTIPB can't even come close to a logical, coherent argument. Every time he posts, all I can think of is Billy Madison.
