The Tennessee men's golf team remained in third place after Tuesday's second round of the Gifford Collegiate on the CordeValle Country Club Course in San Martin, Calif.
The Vols shot a 6-over par 361 and have a 716 total.
The Vols trail leader UCLA by 17 shots. The Bruins fired a 6-under-par 349 and sit at 11-under through two rounds (699).
Stanford is in second place with a 2-under 708. The Cardinal shot a second-round 355.
Rick Lamb fired a 3-under-par 68 to lead the Vols. He is 5-under for the tournament at 137 and is in a tie for second with UCLA's Pontus Widegren.
Stanford's Cameron Wilson remains the overall leader at 7-under 135, but his seven-shot lead after the first round is now just two shots after shooting a 74.
Mike Nagy shot a 1-over 72 for a 144 total and is tied for 22nd.
Marshall Talkington (73) and Chad Merzbacher (74) are tied for 27th at 145. Jay Vandeventer (75) is tied for 33rd at 146 and Thomas Dunne (74) rounds out UT in a tie for 40th at 147.
Tennessee will be grouped with UCLA and Stanford in today's final round and will tee off at 8:30 a.m.
