Tennessee Stat Book
Tennessee coach Derek Dooley has promised changes on defense today when the Vols search for the first SEC win of the season against Missouri.
Tennessee (4-5, 0-5 SEC) plays Missouri (4-5, 1-5) at Neyland Stadium (TV: WVLT, 12:21 p.m.).
Judging by early arrivals, there should be plenty of empty seats, although the weather isn't to blame. The teams warmed up under sunny skies and temperatures are expected to approach 70.
The Vols allowed 721 yards of offense to Troy a week ago, and the defense will be under pressure against talented Missouri quarterback James Franklin.
Running back Rajion Neal (ankle) and offensive tackle Antonio "Tiny" Richardson (knee) are expected to play today for the Vols.

Good stand by the D.

TN has become the "wiggle" team. One more wiggle by Martin then my grannie would have tackled him. The only "great" wiggle dude is CP.

Way too much dancing.

D playing MUCH better so far. Let's see if it keeps up. Hated to see Lane fumble, but at least it was deep enough not to put us in trouble.

Outstanding drive by the Offense. G.B.O.!!!

penalties, turnover, and big loss in kicking game recipe for defeat--defencse needs to make big play

Only 7 pts given up in the 1st Qtr. I like our chances.

It must be fun to be a kicker and go to college. Talk about no responsibilities.

Maybe fake it next time....couldn't hurt.

Nuttin' wrong with the run game today! That's for sure!

good job defense makes play and offense does their part! this looks like a game of what might have been

It's great... To be... A Tennessee Vol...
How 'bout them Vols!?!?!
GerryOP writes:
A good way of putting it, "this looks like a game of what might have been."

This is a much better site this minute. The trolls are still under the sewer bridge.
pcorange writes:
I'm sure you'd call me a troll most of the time. They are playing like an SEC team today. That's all most of us want. I'm not a "Dooley hater", I just want Tennessee to compete and win, whoever is coaching. GBO!
pcorange writes:
Boy, we got by with pass interference just then, lol. If I was Pinkel I'd be having a fit right now!
pcorange writes:
Can't complain about the defense today, either. Much better. They've made it through the first half without allowing a single point scored against them, you can't ask for much better than that.
cltvol writes:
agreed, maybe a make up for the rinky dink call on 84 for celebration,,let em have fun.
VolGrad writes:
A make-up "no-call?"
Go Vols!
