Tennessee and Missouri are going to overtime tied 28-28.

The Tigers scored on a 25-yard, 4th-and-12 pass with 47 seconds left to force overtime.

Tennessee was up 28-21 after three quarters as Missouri's defense started to punch holes.

The Tigers got touchdown runs of 77 and 1 yards from Kendrial Lawrence in the third quarter.

Tennessee countered with Tyler Bray's 16-yard TD pass to Alton Howard, following LaDarrell McNeil's fumble recovery and 33-yard return.

Tennessee led 21-7 after totally dominating the first half against Missouri. At the half, UT had 383 yards of offense to Missouri's 64.

The Vols added a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter, the first a 3-yard run by A.J. Johnson to cap a 73-yard drive.

The 14-7 lead expanded soon after UT's surprising defense forced another three-and-out.

Bray's 21-yard TD pass to Mychal Rivera made it 21-7.

Missouri didn't cross into Tennessee territory until the final minutes of the half.

Tennessee dominated the first quarter but had only a 7-7 tie to show for it.

The Vols got a 5-yard touchdown run from Cordarrelle Patterson but Missouri answered when Jimmie Hunt returned the ensuing kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown.

The Vols' defense kept Missouri under control. Tennessee's offense was hurt when Marlin Lane fumbled at the Mizzou 8 and when Michael Palardy missed a 42-yard field goal.

I hope they pull it out, but I have no hope that they will. They scored 28 in the first half and 0 in the second. The D gave up 0 in the first half and 21 in the second and, in so doing, gave up a first down and a touch down on 4th and long on the crucial drive. Clearly the momentum is with Mizzou, and our idiot coach wants to go to overtime. Fire everyone, not just Dooley from Jimmy Cheek down through the secretaries and waterboys. Revoke all the scholarships and start from scratch. There is NOTHING worth salvaging from that train wreck.

Rumor has it that Dooley will be fired after this game. Hope its true.

No excuse for what happened at the end of regulation. I'm a relatively patient fellow but that's it for me. Dooley should be dismissed no later than tonite.

I am jumping on the fire Dooley bandwagon. I was not until today. 55 secs and let a pass be completed. Problem...who do we get Kiffen might be available

That sums it up. 30 seconds on the clock, 2 timeouts left and he lets the clock run out. You can't explain or defend that.

Well I hope this game has converted a few more to the Dark Side. Don't let anyone tell you that "TRUE" Vol fans blindly support a coach. You should always support a kid who comes here to wear the orange but you don't have to support anyone that is making money off of our university. Fire Dooley NOW!!!

Dooley will get his buyout..end of discussion..

How many of you Doolaide drinkers had the Vols winning this game before it ever started? How many firmly believe that Vandy is an easy win? What will it take to make you see what is happening to this program? Dooley will never bring this program back. He is not capable. Tennessee is still in the running for the bottom of the SEC East.

By far. This is the worst offense we have faced all year, and the second worst we will face all year. Kentucky is a little worse, but not much.
