Tennessee’s final regular season football game against Kentucky on Nov. 24 will kick off at 12:21 p.m. at Neyland Stadium and be televised by the SEC Network (WVLT in Knoxville), the league announced Monday.

Kentucky stunned Tennessee 10-7 last season in Lexington, snapping a 26-year streak in the series and keeping the Vols from qualifying for a bowl game.

The Vols (4-6, 0-6 SEC) play at Vanderbilt (6-4, 4-3) on Saturday (TV: ESPN2, 7 p.m.)

The other SEC games that week include LSU at Arkansas on WVLT in the league's lone Friday game at 2:30 p.m.; Georgia Tech at Georgia on ESPN at noon Saturday; Auburn at Alabama on WVLT at 3:30; Florida at Florida State on ESPN, ESPN2 or WATE at 3:30; Missouri at Texas A&M at 7 on ESPN or ESPN2; Mississippi State at Ole Miss at 7 on ESPNU and South Carolina at Clemson at 7 on ESPN or ESPN2.

Vanderbilt's game at Wake Forest on that final Saturday of the regular season has not yet been set.

Real fans care, thats who. Yet another reason your entire athletic program is going down the drain. Fairweather fans that just don't care. There is a reason that we were one of the most succesful programs in the country last year and UT not even close. See basketball, mens and womens, baseball, golf, tennis, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading- even rifle. Support your teams. Because of people like you, I paid 80 bucks for 50 yard line Row 1 seats. Thanks.

Row 1 seats aren't very good, really.

Dude, I bet you are a jar head. An empty jar head. You need to save your $80 and donate it to UK to put toward that pi** poor baseball stadium they have, since you are so into cheerleading and volleyball. The fact that you paid $80 to see this mess, explains a lot. If you had waited until you got there, someone would have given you tickets. Yes, even being a Kentucky fan you still would've gotten free tickets (or $5 each max). You must've been that one guy sitting there by himself as seconds ticked away while Vandy was waxing that a** 40-0. haha! YOU PAID $80! Haha! I still can't get over that! I hope you got 12 tickets for that. You need to also save some of that disability check and take a "Hooked on Phonics" course and learn how to structure a sentence, and you definitely need to worry about your own athletic program. We have the worst 3 year stretch in football, since 1909-1911, and we'll still beat you. Wow.

I do care but will have to watch as I have to make a Florida trip early in the week. I am always for the Tennessee Volunteers. The team has gone through tough times. Some of it has been players, a lot of it has been poor coaching. The guys do not deserve abandonment by fans even though we are beyond distraught over what has occurred this year. So GO BIG ORANGE! If there is any way I will be there for the KY game, not likely at this time. Otherwise, beat UK this year so the negative Nicholais will hesh up. Also, show Vandy a thing or two. Too many are saying that can't happen. I disagree but we will all see together. GO VOLS!

All this apathy could be reversed overnight by firing Dooley now, cleaning out his office and naming an interim to coach out the year. Dooley has become a circus like distraction.

This will also be the final game for Dooley to go out on, and it’s a home game for the Vols. We can only hope Tyler Bray and his receivers don’t want to win the game, just like last year.

Our players may not even be playing for a bowl in a couple of weeks.

Many of them will be playing for the last time in their careers or playing for NFL contracts but that's all it will take to send you crawling back up Coach Cal's a^^.

80 bucks huh? How much overtime at the car wash did it take you to get that kind of scratch?

Just hope the players don't have to keep his britches pulled up to cover his crack as they carry him off the field like they did CPF in 2008, lol. Bless his heart.

Vol fans care. There is a good chance UT will be 4-7 when we face UK. Vandy wants it bad and is probably better than us right now (can't believe I just typed that #%@*). The Vols have never lost 8 in a season. Lose to UK too, and this team goes down in infamy.
However, I believe UT will crush UK.

Let me see, your team has won one game this season, has only been in one game to the end other than that one win and have never had what one would call a winner in football. Yes that about somes it up LOSER

gdkvols#660587 writes:

The FACT is that given the same Offensive Coord. for three years, Dooley has presided over a prolific Offense (despite our defense not being able to get off the field!).

How quickly people forget that Justin Wilcox left after his second year (when we finished 28th nationally in defense, 13 in passing defense). If we had just that same defense as last year, we might be undefeated.

Firing Dooley insures that Bray, Hunter, and Patterson leave. The smart thing to do here is to absorb the cost, and get a PROVEN DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR for next year.
