Georgia Lady Dogs signs 2 sunshine state prospects

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — The No. 10 Georgia Lady Bulldogs have picked up a pair of prospects from the sunshine state on the first day of the early signing period.

Coach Andy Landers announced Wednesday that 6-foot-3 forward Samantha Glodis and 5-foot-7 guard Sydnei McCaskill have signed letters-of-intent to play for Georgia next season.

Glodis averaged 7.2 points and 12.3 rebounds as a junior at Dwyer High School in West Palm Beach, Fla. She is rated as the nation's No. 18 post prospect by ESPN's Hoopgurlz.

McCaskill is the No. 86 overall prospect in ESPN's Hoopgurlz rankings after leading Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla., to consecutive state titles.
