Georgia signs guards J.J. Frazier, Juwan Parker

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia has added two players to its future backcourt by signing point guard J.J. Frazier and shooting guard Juwan Parker.

Frazier, from Glennville, Ga., is only 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds but is considered the state's top prospect at point guard. He averaged 26.2 points and 4.9 assists last season at Faith Baptist Christian Academy.

Georgia coach Mark Fox says Frazier is a "quick and dynamic" player.

Parker, from Tulsa, Okla., also signed Wednesday, the first day of the week-long early signing period. He averaged 20.5 points and 9.4 rebounds last season at Booker T. Washington High School, which won Oklahoma 5A state championships in his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Parker (6-4, 190) is rated the nation's No. 30 shooting guard prospect by Scout.com.
