Kentucky women sign top-15 recruiting class

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky has signed three top-10 recruits to letters of intent, including its highest-ranked player ever.

Teammates Makayla Epps and Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, along with Linnae Harper make up the class recruiting services rank in the top 15. It is Kentucky coach Matt Mitchell's fourth consecutive top-15 recruiting class and his highest since signing the No. 5 group in 2009.

Harper, a 5-foot-8 guard from Chicago, is considered the nation's No. 5 prospect. She averaged 18.7 points, 13.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals for Class 4A champion Whitney Young High School last season.

Epps, a 5-11 guard from Lebanon, Ky., averaged 17.3 points, 4.1 assists and 2.4 steals last season for Marion County High School. Teammate Goodin-Rogers, a 6-1 power forward, contributed 13.4 points and 9.1 rebounds as a junior.
