— How long did the celebration last for Kentucky players last season after they knocked off Tennessee to put an end to the Cats' 26-game losing streak against the Volunteers?

"Weeks," senior offensive lineman Larry Warford said.

"Months and months," sophomore linebacker Bud Dupree corrected. "It really didn't end until this season began."

That's the type of momentum Kentucky could use to end this season, which has featured so few signs of forward progress.

Been hard to forget here also, since JA seems to write about it every week. That game gave him job security. When there was nothing else to write about, hey write about the Tn/Ky game last year.

Today these players will play a game. However, we all know now it is all about a business. I am not crticizing, just stating a fact.
I think a win or a loss today should be kept in its proper perspective, regardless given the outcome of both team's season. Play hard Vol seniors....you deserve a break if ever a group of loyal men deserved one. And THANK YOU for sticking thru the whole ugly mess.

Going winless in the SEC for the first time ever should be motivation enough..What team would want that stigma

6972, and fellow Vols,

You said it 100% correctly.

If we had a dollar for every time this jerk, Adams has brought it up, plus the wide receiver QB thing..........we could have a nice sum to shop with during the holidays.

Of all the columnists we've seen from the KNS, this guy is undoubtedly the sorriest one to pick up a pen.

Gary Lundy, Marvin West, and Tom Siler
would be embarrassed to write stuff like
Adams.

I'm neither an Adams fan nor a foe. I don't find his articles all that helpful in most cases. I do believe that these players should have been reminded every day after that loss last year that losing to Kentucky is completely unacceptable at Tennessee. Losing to a better team is one thing, but as bad as we were last year, Kentucky still wasn't a better team.

That's it!! You suffer from permanent shrinkage.

People don't like John Adams because he speaks the truth and demands better from a terrible coach and underachieving players. I blame John Adams for this season. Perhaps some of you could fill in and put a positive spin on games like Vandy, Troy, and Bama.

A ha troll. I did get your attention, didn't I?

Listen jerk, the only sloshing Dooley's name around has been you. None of the true Vols liked losing. But I believe 100% you liked the losing since it gave you your pessimistic agenda to whine about with your favorite subject..........your hatred for Derek Dooley.

Face it troll, you have long been the chief
antagonist on this site. There are others, but the incessant griping from you over shadows anything other trolls have had to offer. We clearly see what an embarrassment to Richmond you must be.

You have this jealousy of former Vols in that your make up any number of screen names to attack them ( Kremser and Glenn Ford, for example. )

But keep throwing out garbage such as saying Vol fans had this love affair with CDD. That's coming from you clown, not us. The only love affair with him is your twisted way of thinking. He's gone, yet you still clamor for more attacks.

Go face these people in person for a change. Stop being a fraud, a coward, and a genuine nuisance here.
