Oakland (2-4)
The Grizzlies knocked off UT in 2010-11 (Knoxville) and 2011-12 (Oakland), but lost the guy responsible for both wins. Reggie Hamilton, last year's NCAA scoring champion (26.2 ppg), has moved on. Coach Greg Kampe, in his 29th year, uses a dribble-drive offense similar to Kentucky, but without all the future lottery picks. Oakland is in the midst of a brutal seven-game road trip.
Tennessee (3-1)
The Vols return to Thompson-Boling Arena, site of a Nov. 9 home-opening win over Kennesaw State, after going 2-1 in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. Still playing without starting forward Jeronne Maymon (knee) the Vols are looking to improve defensive close-outs (opponents are shooting 42.4 percent from the field against UT) and offensive execution (0.81 assist-to-turnover ratio).

Go Vols and how funny.....this article was posted under "Women's Basketball". Go Vols and HUGE games tonight and Friday! Can't wait to sit back with some nice cold ones after a hard days work on Friday watching my VOLS play on ESPN at 6:30! Could be the kickoff to a great weekend. Actually, I'd love for the mens team to win tonight, Friday night against G'town, and then to beat all....announce our new football coach Sunday!!!! Yeee Haaaaa!

Totally different game in the 2nd half vs the first. Very hard to figure this team out so far. I think we are good when Stokes, Golden, and Hall are in. Add Maymon and 5th guy by committee and we are maybe a 30 win team.

OK, this was posted under women's basketball and I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the center at 6'10". Followed by the rest of the team all over 6'4".
I only caught on when I saw Jarnell! Shame on me Lloyd should have given me a clue!
