BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Florida running back Mike Gillislee and Mississippi receiver Donte Moncrief are co-Southeastern Conference offensive players of the week.
Gillislee rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns against Florida State. Moncrief caught seven passes for a career-high 173 yards and three touchdowns in a victory over Mississippi State.
Georgia safety Bacarri Rambo and South Carolina end Jadeveon Clowney shared defensive honors Monday.
Rambo forced two fumbles and had an interception against Georgia Tech. Clowney had a school-record 4.5 sacks at Clemson.
Special teams honors were shared by Vanderbilt kicker Carey Spear and Florida kicker Caleb Sturgis. Spear had field goals of 52 and 50 yards and Sturgis made three field goals.
Alabama's Barrett Jones and Clowney received offensive and defensive lineman honors.
Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was the top freshman.
