Five big things against Mississippi State

1No Pass Is Safe: Mississippi State and Tennessee share the SEC lead (along with Alabama) with nine interceptions. Edge to the Bulldogs for a 28-yard average on returns, compared to 12 yards for the Vols. Who gets No. 10 for UT? Freshman safety LaDarrell McNeil throws his helmet in the ring.

2Who's The Bully?: Tennessee has not only won the past six games in the series, it's won them by a whopping average of 24.5 points. The Bulldogs' best effort in that span was a 24-14 loss in the 1998 SEC championship Game.

3 Upstairs View: Derek Dooley, recovering from hip surgery, will be out of harm's way in the press-box booth. The party line is that it won't affect administration of the game. But Dooley will presumably be able to tug on Jim Chaney's sleeve if he doesn't like a play call.

4 Pace Yourself: The 9 p.m. Eastern kickoff is Tennessee's latest since 2002. A carefully regimented schedule will assure the players don't peak too early in the day. The fans, however, are on their own.

5 The 70 Club: Tennessee has been gashed for five touchdowns of 70 or more yards in the past three games. The Bulldogs might have a pool to see who joins the club. The Vols insist membership is now closed.

Right here.
#6 - We are halfway through the season and our adjutment should be - All negative comments should be something new instead of never changing whine sessions.

What happened to "John Grudens Agent"?
You usually post a lot but two days ago, you hardly posted at all? But John Grudens Agent posted all day, so I was not without the bashing comments. Now you are back and he is gone - weird.
I must applaud the two of you though, under the Dooley injury report, you both declared it as a serious matter and wished him a speedy recovery. I honestly respect the show of humanity from you "both".

I know. I have never seen you mention Gruden. Except every 5th post. Coincidences do happen.

some things just take a few years to run their course .you cant hire or fire a coach every other year . are you not old enough to get that ?let the season play out and then things should appear more obvious one way or the other . tell me something , did you think firing Fulmer during the season was very bright ? Why would you wanna do that again .none of these people hired Dooley ,everyone knows how you feel dude you have hammered it in . why dont you try another approach and tell us a story . tell us about a young er Toddy boy and its hopes and dreams and how it all came to this and when you realized Phil was the one !

One flaw. I have never supported or dismissed the coach, However, While remaining nuetral, I have been attacked by you on numerous occasions and have never been attacked by the "fake pro dooley propaganda posters".
It is almost as if your facts are backwards?
Seems reasonable posts are accepted by the "doolaid drinkers" while the "negavols" accept no opinion but their own?

Dooley inherited a mess. Hanging all the losses on him is ludicrous. We have a quarterback and two receivers that are star caliber but haven't played together more than a few games. Let's see what happens this weekend.

You're right. Ali was always being quoted. You, on the other hand, are quoted frequently because you give people so many great examples of pure stupidity. You're like a train wreck. Everybody just has to look.

Next year without Bray? I'm not sure going pro even with his talent after his junior year with no wins over any competitive talent, and some concerns of maturity would be in his best interest.

So I'm confused if you think he is a senior or the other never existed or happened?

He has top 10 talent, but he hasn't exactly set himself up to be a first round pick just yet.

VOL56 writes:

FYI Bray is ranked as a top 5 NFL QB prospect and will go in the 1st round next spring. Don't kid yourself - Bray, Hunter, CP maybe a couple of the O linemen - will be gone. We will miss Bray and company also Duh rick will be playing the NFL.

This site has become a boring post due to all of the complainers- leave Coach Dooley alone - back the team. You should try the 247 site much more informative, less female doging by the posters.

I'm sick of hearing how the Vols under Dooley haven't beat 'competitive talent.' Cincinnati was 10-3 last year. They beat UConn, Vanderbilt, NC State, Pitt, Louisville, and USF. NC State is 4-2 with a win over then #3 Florida State. Those both are 'competitive.'

Top 25 and competitive are two different standards. Revisionist fact telling doesn't hold water.

I usually don't get involved in personal issues, rather I'd just as soon stay focused on football discussion. But this idea of being the "greatest" might be a self esteem, delusional, narcissistic, self exaltation issue you might want to have a professional look into and help you with. Just trying to help one of my fellow man.
