With Tennessee playing its home opener on Saturday against Georgia State, here's a guide to game day:
Traffic and parking advisories:
Only cars with permits can park on campus. Fans without permits can use shuttle buses from the Old City, Knoxville Civic Coliseum and the Market Square area of downtown Knoxville and Farragut High School in west Knoxville.
Some accessible parking spaces and fully accessible shuttle buses to the stadium are available on the UT Agriculture Campus off Neyland Drive.
All lanes of Neyland Drive will be open despite the ongoing renovation work on the Henley Bridge.
Be aware that the parking garage near the University Center has been demolished and a section of Andy Holt Avenue has been permanently closed for the construction of a new student union.
"Cone Zone" signs will direct motorists to parking and construction detours.
Fun on game day
The Vol Walk starts at 1:45 p.m. on Volunteer Boulevard near Circle Park. Players will walk down Volunteer Boulevard and onto Peyton Manning Pass on their way to the stadium.
The Pride of the Southland Marching Band will begin marching at 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of Pat Head Summitt Street and Volunteer Boulevard and follow the same path as the Vol Walk.
New this year
Flat-screen televisions replaced the box sets in the lower level of Neyland Stadium.
Tennessee says cell phone capacity wireless signal will be improved.
Do's and don'ts
Only small bags are allowed in the stadium, and all bags and purses are subject to search by security.
Alcoholic beverages, cans, bottles and coolers are prohibited. Fans also can't bring radios without headphones, artificial noisemakers, video cameras, stadium seats with arms or weapons of any kind.
Fans are allowed to bring cushions and seats without arms, small cameras and binoculars.
Any kind of solicitation, including ticket scalping, is prohibited in front of Neyland Stadium from Middle Way Drive to Gate 10 beginning four hours before kickoff.
