The son of a former Vols player, 2014 four-star safety Todd Kelly Jr. of Knoxville (Tenn.) Webb School has attended home games at Tennessee's Neyland Stadium for about as long as he can remember back. On Saturday, Kelly was there again for the Florida game, but this time as a coveted prospect.

"It was a good visit," Kelly told 247Sports.

According to Kelly, the electric atmosphere and energy before and during the Vols' matchup with the Gators reminded him of a time when 10-win seasons in Knoxville were the norm.

"I went to every home game when I was little," Kelly said. "It brought back memories."

Reminded him of a time when 10 win seasons where the norm. Who was the coach then? Oh yea, a College football Hall of Famer. Nice job Hamilton.

The results against Florida were the same then too.
Who was the coach then again?
Oh yeah, a Hall of Famer who couldn't beat UF or Saban.

"Special needs" are pads ,BOOKS, booster assistance,tree poisoning chemicals.....climson tide has a good thing going...enjoy for now as great sabini(saban) will retire in 2-3 years. Then reality sets in again as tidey bowl stays good,but the trend is probably not as sweet...for now enjoy formerly known as 'Farragut.'

I am sure Mr. Kelly Jr. will do greatly wherever he chooses to attend college. It'd be good to see him in orange and white but after Saturday's game two things seem obvious for many many fans: 1)They believe the team gave up;
2)The fans themselves have given up only 3 games into the season.
There is a lot more football to be played this year. Now if eggs continue to be laid and laid so poorly, I get all the belly-aching. But after just one loss and it being as bad, it being Florida, adds a lot of negative points, we can't just lay down for the remainder of the year. The coaching staff deserves at least one more chance. They need to show us something against GA after annihilating Akron Saturday. If GA pounds them, then we are in for trouble. So let's try to hold on before we give up the ship. As for recruits, come on to Rocky Top. We are struggling but we will eventually be fine.
Too many people bought too much hype too soon. The result is we feel devastated. But we cannot stay in the muck. Let's pull ourselves up and keep going.

Yes,if you will, we sold ourselves a bill of goods after same intro last year. Granted I still think this year's product is better,but so are most of our MAIN competitor's. This team could still surprise us in a nice way. So let's play out the season and see how they progress. Competetive all major games including screaming elephants. Of course, winning 6 out of remaining games to show fanbase that slow upswing is in progress. Kats,commodores,Troy,Akron,Missouri, and one out of chickens or of either bulldawg . 60 minutes of quality ball and that is possible. Probable? Have to see how we hold up vs. dawgs in Athens to get read on that...
