We need a for real running back not another barely 3 star recruited by Ga Southern!! Unrelated/// Just saw a picture of Jarnell Stokes little brother playing football..He's 6'8" in 8th grade!!!

We have failed in the recruiting wars. It could be our coaches are weak recruiters or just the turmoil in the program and weakness on the field has turned off top recruits. Some people on this forum like to mock 4/5* guys and the rating is not a guaranteed measure of success, but it should not be ignored. Florida's 4/5* speed killed us. We've got to get more of these great athletes or we will continue in medocrity.

My thought is Tennessee has tried to sign players with character versus stars. I know the character part has not always panned out, but over the last three years there have only been a handful of recruits that didn't qualify because of grades. I do remember hearing CDD say Tennessee could not afford to waste scholarships due to the low number of scholarship players on the football roster when he first came to Tennessee.

I will support Dooley as long as the recruiting stays top 10. If he is not a great recruiter then not much to offer. That seat just got a lot hotter today. Make something good happen quick,DD!!
