The bands have filed into Sanford Stadium and the opening kickoff of Tennessee (3-1, 0-1 SEC) versus No. 5 Georgia (4-0, 2-0) is approaching in Athens, Ga.

The Vols, two-touchdown underdogs, are looking for their first SEC win of the season and their first win over rival Georgia since 2009. A capacity crowd near 93,000 is expected today.

Twenty players from the UT roster hail from the state of Georgia, including Athens natives Alan Posey and Quenshaun Watson. The Sanford sidelines are well familiar to Vols coach Derek Dooley, whose father, Vince, was Georgia's coach from 1964-88.

The Bulldogs are 28-12 at Sanford Stadium in coach Mark Richt's 12-year tenure.

Kickoff in Athens is set for 3:30 p.m.

Any give Saturday..we are due to have a game where things just click. Let's beat the dawgs today with a Big Orange stick. Nobody gives us a chance so there's nothing to lose. Play like your hair's on fire and hit anything wearing red.

Everyone is tired of losing to the SEC teams. EVERYONE! I am not John Gruden but it seems simple to me...if we can run we can win. If we can't run, we will lose. Go Orange. Suprise everyone.
P.S. Some are saying we will score 30 plus points. I hope they are right, but I wonder.

I will be proud of the Vols win or lose!! Once a Vol, always a Vol!!

I'm sitting here starting to get P.O.'d already. The Texas A&M/Arkansas game is on CBS, and the just started the fourth quarter. It's only 10 minutes until kickoff for our game. Even though A&M has a 34 point lead, I'm betting they don't switch over to our game until this blowout is over.

If we avoid 3rd-and-short runs (or are able to run on 3rd-and-short successfully), and avoid those critical dropped passes, we can score that many.

Go Vols

Lets just enjoy being 3-1 for a few more hours....until we're 3-2.

our defense is so soft...

Stooley_Dinks writes:

Did you hear Gary say Chaney mentioned the thing he did not want was to fall behind?

We just did. And, it was easy. Georgia is a good team, but everyone we have played has been able to move the ball. We are out of place and take bad angles consistently. That is the fault of negative fans.

Hopefully, you get to see soon because CBS might be switching to Holy Cross and Brown by the 2nd half.

Was it already 7-0 by the time they switched over?

Now thats funny

CrankE writes:

I note that on the false start, with a Georgia defender in his face, though the whistle has blown, Bray chucks the ball at his feet. I guess that's one way to shake a defender...

DeltaCharlie3 writes:

Come on Bray, do it for Gator Nation!

He took a flu shot yesterday and he's a little down...

Few more breaks like that and I will hang my VOL flag back up....7-7

OUR DEFENSE SUCKS!!!!

DeltaCharlie3 writes:

By the way, for those who were saying "Bray for Heisman, President and Congress" after the NCS game, a very mediocre Miami offense just threw for 566 yards today with 5 td's against them.

But forget all that, BEAT UGA!

Our defense SUCKS.

Hope we leave Sunseri in Athens after the game!!!

We haven't defended the perimeter all season.

smokeygrowl writes:

How can that not be fixed yet? How?

DeltaCharlie3 writes:

#45 is good, but soooooo slow. UT has the slowest defense in the SEC by far.

CrankE writes:

And Marsalis Teague with another blown tackle for TD. Thanks. Sigh

Stooley_Dinks writes:

Brewer took a HORRID angle and looked like a clown! And, it is BYRON Moore, not Brian.

tulelakevol writes:

One lucky play on d, three and out on offense, dawgs win going away.

At least our defense won't wear down.

big defenseive play followed promptly by a defensive breakdown.

This might get ugly in a hurry. Bray is ready to quit.

GreerVol22 writes:

Same phooey different day. Can't get off blocks and LBs are horribly out of position on anything that pops outside.

Huge play to Rogers right there.

DeltaCharlie3 writes:

Dumb, let Bray throw it there! UTs wildcat package is sophomoric.
