KNOXVILLE — Holly Warlick joined News Sentinel columnist John Adams and Sports Page host Vince Ferrara Friday morning to talk about the Lady Vols.

Warlick said she was "ready to get back home and play a couple of games" after being on the road for the past couple of weeks.

When asked about the state of her team, Warlick answered, "We can always get better. We can always improve. We keep working on our defense. I think our offense has probably suffered a little bit because we've spent so much time on the defense. I think the more games we play, the better we've gotten in game situations. We're a very good practice team, but at times we get out in the game and … games are different.

"I think we're in decent shape. I just think that at times we gotta understand a little bit more of time and possession of the clock. But for the most part, I'm very pleased."
