Tennessee receiver Marquez North and cornerback Cameron Sutton were named to the SEC's All-Freshman team on Thursday.
The team is selected by the league's 14 head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own players.
Arkansas, Ole Miss and South Carolina each placed four players on the team , while Florida had three.
North, recruited by Vols coach Butch Jones out of Charlotte, had 38 catches for 496 yards in his debut season.
Sutton won a starting job in camp and played nearly every snap of all 12 games, emerging as the Vols' most consistent defensive back.
A native of Jonesboro, Ga., Sutton had one interception return for touchdown, two fumble recoveries, four tackles for loss and a sack in 2013.
Sutton is the third consecutive UT defensive back to earn the honor. North is the first Tennessee wide receiver to be recognized since Justin Hunter in 2010.
