Maybe we can get that staff back next year and maybe win some games...

I doubt very much that Bruce will be back. I suppose if we have a below par season (and it has certainly started out that way again), the question will be if CCM will be back. That question must be answered before we entertain who's next.

Glad to see Forbes has landed on his feet. Likewise for Shay. Can't imagine why Jones hasn't gotten a shot yet. As for Pearl coming back to replace Martin, the season isn't over yet. Winning the next few and showing up well in SEC competition would go a long way toward dampening down some of the temper being displayed on the board lately. I have said before and I say now, again, that Martin's future may well depend on getting the Vols at least into the big tournament.

There is a lot of volatility in college basketball this year, even moreso than in the recent turbulent years. The Vols still have as good a chance as any to right the ship and show up big before the season is out. I would say, however, that the time is NOW to start showing that, if indeed it isn't already too late.
