Florida quarterback Tyler Murphy has decided to transfer, concluding a rollercoaster season that saw the redshirt junior go from hero to goat to the sidelines with a season-ending shoulder injury.

The school announced the decision on Sunday, a day after Murphy graduated from the University of Florida. Murphy, who turns 22 next month, will be eligible to play next season at another school if he finds a graduate program not offered at UF.

The move apparently blindsided coach Will Muschamp, who told the Gainesville Sun on Sunday that the quarterback and his father said Murphy had planned to return in 2014.

Florida is the college football equivalent of the Titanic. Strike up the band and lower the lifeboats.

You are happy why. They have beat the Vols 9 in a row. So I guess Gators are sinking. Vols have sunk. Go Vols.

Hate to say it but it ain't going to get better as long as "Must-Chump" the Terrible is their coach. The Freaking guy goes ballistic on the sidelines when a kid makes a mistake.
I can only imagine what he is like when a kid makes a mistake during practice. I'm surprised the Bull Gators haven't already forced Foley to fire his butt.

Butch should call Murphy, he beat us like a drum. We don't have an SEC caliber quarterback on the team for next year. The three we played are duds and the fourth is just pre-season hype until his debut.
Murphy can run and Butch needs a running QB.
I can't imagine Will the Terrible would let him transfer to UT.

You can bet he won't let him transfer to any SEC school.
