Tennessee center James Stone has accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game, joining offensive line teammate Zach Fulton at the NFL showcase event.

The game will take played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Jan. 18 at 4 p.m. and will be televised by the NFL Network.

Stone started 12 games in 2013 and 39 in his UT career.

Fulton and Stone will be the 43rd and 44th Vols to play in the Shrine Game, and the first since Tauren Poole in 2012. The last time more than one UT player participated in the game was 2004, when Rashad Baker, Casey Clausen and Gibril Wilson were invited.

The East-West Shrine Game has been played intermittently since 1925, usually in the San Francisco Bay area. More recently, the game has been played in San Antonio, Houston, Orlando and now St. Petersburg.
