GVX Audio: WR Von Pearson talks about signing with the Vols

LaVon Pearson was one of at least three junior college prospects who signed with Tennessee on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-3 receiver played at Feather River College in California, but is originally from Virginia. Pearson is the No. 4 overall junior college prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite ratings.

"I'm out of juco, I'm out of California, I'm close to home. Nothing could be better," Pearson said. "The coaching staff was great. They were showing so much love. They have a great tradition. Who doesn't want to be part of Wide Receiver U?"
