Martin rates his team a "C". Due to expectations I say an "F" is more fair

Not a game that can help the Vols' RPI/BPI much whether they win by one or a hundred, but a loss would obviously be devastating. The main points of interest will be if there are any major changes in the lineup, the rotation, or the pace of play. However the season turns out, this is the next game, so it could be useful to gauge the team's interest and mindset going forward.

...and as a side note, see what kind of turnout there is tonight...fans are thoroughly disgusted with the effort and coaching that has been presented to us so far this season. I would not be surprised if the actual "head count" is less than 5,000.

You may be right about the mood of some of the fans, but a small crowd tonight would hardly be a sign of the impending apocalypse. The Vols rarely draw well for mid-major opponents during the holidays. Much more important for the team going forward is what kind of changes in personnel and/or style of play the Vols employ. Neither the crowd nor the score will be anywhere nearly as important as those.

Player EFFORT...... EFFORT ! Lack of Effort = Bench Time. This is what CM needs to figure out early in the game .

Seems to me just about no game on the schedule is a "pushover" for this team. Vols should win comfortably, but who will be surprised if its close or even slightly behind at the half? On paper we have too much depth and too many athletes for this team to stay with us for 40 minutes. Just don't let them hang in there for 30 minutes and become believers. Come on guys, go out and make a statement.. you're way overdue!

Just two years ago, 13 seed Morehead State defeated 4 seed Louisville, in the 2011 NCAA Tournament's first round. Obviously, this is not the same MS team, but definitely not a team to be taken lightly.
