WTF does the headline mean? Esteem is a noun; not a verb!!! KNS, your headline writers are getting really bad with messing up the language we call English!

One definition of esteem is to set a high value on, respect, admire, revere. I think all of them fit the way most Lady Vol fans feel about Candace. We've had many great athletes pass through the program but she is simply the best of the best. IMO !!! Let's not quibble about how the headline is written but instead just show up Thursday night to show our gratitude for all she has done to benefit our program.

One can support the Lady Vols and appreciate all Candace meant/means to the program and not be happy with the horrible headlines that KNS continues to foist on us, the readers. :)

Candace, you are the greatness and thanks for the memories.

That is Alberta Auguste, not Vickie Baugh, standing next to Candace.

Thanks for the heads up. The art/cutline came from the Associated Press, but it still should have been caught.
