The skinny: North was expected to take the two-team battle between Tennessee and North Carolina down to National Signing Day, but he made up his mind a week early. He canceled an in-home visit with UNC coach Larry Fedora and announced his decision on Twitter. North will go down as the first elite national prospect landed by Jones' staff, so he'll have higher expectations than other members of what should be a large group of young receivers.
