The skinny: Lee was committed to East Carolina until Tennessee swooped in with an offer in the final days and convinced him to change his mind. Top teams recruited Lee aggressively a year ago, but academic questions and an injury in his senior season scared them away. But the Vols needed to add a running back to their class, and coaches evidently determined that Lee was worth the risk. Lee combined for more than 3,000 yards during his sophomore and junior seasons, but had just 130 after suffering a knee injury in 2012.

Academic issues? that's what I figured. reason he was going to east carolina. lets see if he is eligible come August. we are really going to be hurting at rb, with a rookie qb. not good.
