The skinny: Ferguson isn't a spread quarterback, per se, but he's an athletic prostyle quarterback, so he presumably has the ability to move around enough to suit offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian's offense. Ferguson had been a favorite of former coordinator Jim Chaney. He stayed in the fold once he was assured he still fit Butch Jones' offensive plans.
