The way that they were playing earlier, they may not have done well in Div II. Hopefully they will finish strong enough to get to the NIT and maybe the NCAA.

There is another tournament for teams that do not make the NIT. I forget what it is called but ETSU played in it a couple years ago....

The Vols probably won't make the NCAAs but they are a lock for the NIT unless they just fall apart the rest of the way, and I don't see that happening. Agree with the comment above that if they had won a couple of those nonconference games earlier, they would still be strongly in the running for an NCAA berth. Really hurts now to think how much those stinker games set them back, considering the way they are playing now.

Win out and it would be hard to keep them out. They have some quality wins and if they finish strong, they would be welcome in the NCAA as a 10 to 12 seed.
