Anthony Parker joins staff as grad assistant

Anthony Parker, an offensive lineman at Tennessee from 2005-08, has joined Butch Jones’ staff as a graduate assistant, Tennessee confirmed Monday.

UT also said that Derrick Lett, a former receiver at Bowling Green, had been hired as an administrative intern.

A native of Jonesboro, Ga., Parker was a four-year letterman at UT and has served as a graduate assistant at Morgan State (2009-10) and Mississippi State (2011-12).

UT receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Zach Azzanni coached Lett at Bowling Green. After his playing career, Lett spent four years as an assistant coach at Bowling Green (Ohio) High School.

Why not hire Cincinati alumni? Those northern coaches are superior to these Tennessee alumni!
